Our graduates work as editors, marketing specialists, account managers, and more. Some even go on to practice law and serve as elected officials.

Meet the Faculty
Within our department, Blugolds get the opportunity to learn while gaining direct experience with community organizations. Each year, Blugolds take what they’re learning in the classroom and use that knowledge to develop campaigns and communication plans. Those plans are later implemented in the Eau Claire community and beyond — providing unmatched, real-world experience for Blugolds.
The Ann Devroy Memorial Fund is dedicated to the memory of Ann Devroy, a UW-Eau Claire journalism graduate and respected journalist often described as one of the best reporters ever to cover the White House.
The Devroy family’s generosity supports the Devroy Fellowship as well as the the Devroy Forum, which annually brings journalists of national prominence to UW-Eau Claire.

It's not a super big campus, but how many different countries you can study abroad in, how many research opportunities there are, how many on-campus jobs you can find, how many internships you can get connected to — you can have so many great experiences here.
